The Shows
LIVE MUSIC:
The Live Music sessions are devised using performance
techniques to aid people with dementia. These shows help
residents reminisce and unlock memories through the sensory
experience of music. Each session lasts around 1.5 hours with an
hour of live music and additional interaction time before and after
the show. These sessions grow and develop as the relationship
with the residents enhances each month. There are multiple shows
constantly rotating, with a wide array of songs and stories from
the Rat Pack and their peers through the ages.
HEART TO HEART (ROOM VISITS):
Alongside the regular Live shows, usually held in the lounge area,
Daniel performs individual room visits for residents that are
unable to attend the bigger shows. This session lasts one hour.
Daniel uses portable equipment to perform one song in each room,
telling lots of jokes and stories along the way. This has become a
very popular option within care homes and with the
residents’ families. These sessions were created to
provide accessibility and inclusion to all.
THE MAKING OF RADIO - BEHIND THE SCENES WITH DANIEL BREWERTON:
Step into the enchanting world of radio with Daniel's captivating interactive show, designed exclusively for care homes.
In these engaging sessions, residents have the opportunity to record their own voice overs for poems, narrative readings, seasonsal stories, and even their own personal memories—creating an everlasting piece of art for themselves, the care home and their loved ones.
Daniel's expertise ensures a supportive and enjoyable environment, where participants can explore the nuances of voice acting and storytelling, ensuring that every resident’s story is heard, preserved, and celebrated.
