LIVE FROM THE SANDS

‘Live from the Sands’ is a Rat Pack tribute show, with music therapy elements, performed in the style of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. The session is a collection of their best loved hits from the ‘60s. Combined with famous anecdotes from The Pack, audience interaction and a nostalgic ‘Sands Hotel’ themed set, this show takes you back in time for a trip down memory lane.

Care home sessions are devised specifically for people with dementia, this is a show to help reminisce and unlock memories through the sensory experience of music. Daniel performs the show every day to the biggest care home and hospice organisations in the UK including: Bupa, Signature, MMCG, Anchor, Sunrise, CareUK, NHS and many more.

Daniel also performs a commercial version of the show for weddings, wine bars and events.

"Daniel performs on a regular basis. The charisma he has immediately catches residents attention as he walks in. He sets the scene like Sinatra would have and sings with the same spark. Residents who don't usually sit in the communal area will come to watch him which shows how his performance is felt and will walk him out thanking him and asking when he will be returning. Visitors also come to watch Daniel as they are taken back at the way their parent responds to his singing."

"Daniel Brewerton has been coming to sing for the Residents of St. Augustines  Residential Care Home since 2017.  The Residents enjoy having Daniel in wearing his Evening Suite and singing songs from the Rat Pack which they enjoy singing along too. Many of the Residents enjoy getting up and dancing. It is amazing seeing a ninety-year-old with a beaming smile on her face full of energy dancing, to those who will use their Zimmer Frames and move them to the sound of the Music. It is always a happy occasion."
